Excited!!! I am looking forward to a new blackberry KEYBOARD phone. In Europe, there is n't anyone selling a keyboard phone. I hope its looks more like the KeyOne, then the KEY2. I liked the silver bands on the keyboard.

The main improvements I hope a faster processor, camera and the screen. I hope they keep the 3.5mm jack. 5G is n't very important.

As it is a new company, I hope they focus on reliability and quality.

I hope they update, otherwise, they may loose those customers, may need to replace their phones and don't have a choice.....

The physical keyboard is the key to a BB Phone revival. It's not just a software issue.

Stuff, they were apparently a very nice privacy phone. I wasn:t aware they fell over, again. What they need to do is set development firmware and manufacture in independent corporations in an independent country for the sole use of using each other's product mandatorily, so privacy can be enhanced further. Don't matter what the government tells them, it's out of their hands. They can also offer a boot to one of the Linux's used for privacy on privacy phones, like pine 64. Then a pro video camera function on a mid range phone, and gaming rig phone. New Black Berry. Common, not just another reboot not going far.

Just copy any midrange or flagship hardware and put your software on top. Ya, it's that easy.

YUKI93, 26 Jul 2021They may as well just build a generic bar-shaped smartphone... moreLol. Precisely. I welcome Blackberry's comeback. I'm ok with them just being mid-rangers now.

Dometalican, 26 Jul 2021'...and probably that’s why it is turning to partners ... moreThey may as well just build a generic bar-shaped smartphone in the first place. For a BlackBerry smartphone, having no headphone jack and a microSD card support is a total sin. Influencers should just stick to top brands like Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi only, they should NEVER mess around with unpopular or niche brands. Watch Mrwhosetheboss video about LG smartphones, it's a complete cringe fest! It was so unbearable that I ended up unsubscribing his channel.

I actually would love to see the return of Priv with a modern chipset and better screen alongside better camera hardware. While I am a total sucker for smartphones with a physical QWERTY keyboard, I love the Priv's slide-out flexibility so that you can have a real smartphone screen all the time with the QWERTY keyboard tucked behind the screen. I love that idea a lot.

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2021I cant wait for BB OSBB OS is dead, the last BB phones where based on Android customized by BB, and the phone components where not considered (or I don't considered it) of a flagship phone or even the features. The only way I see they can have a decent come back is to launch a flagship competitor, if not then I wouldn't see a reason to come back.

I believe that the price of this next phones will be in the range of 500 to 700 USD, and it won't even have flagship components, the royalties that Onward Mobility will need to pay to BB will be part an important reason why it will be a high price midrange phone.

As a previous owner of a Black Berry phone (Z30) I do love BB OS and I would love a glorious come back but I don't see that in the horizon, there's no interest of app developers to work on BB OS.

They literally just need to grab the Key2 design, put better camera/CPU inside, UFS storage, and that's it. No need to tweak anything else.

Otherwise, they could try some "Nokia E7" design, or a Priv approach, although history taught those designs were less popular with the physical keyboard fandom.
