Unless the item shipped to me is within EU, the customs will charge me VAT. And even if they declare it's a 5€ phone on the paperwork (which is what Giztop claims they do), people working in customs aren't idiots. They'll demand proof of purchase which is a receipt from purchase. If it says $919, they'll smack 22% VAT on top and charge manipulation charges and ship it off to my home. I'm not in the mood of fabricating receipts with lower costs. Besides, they aren't stupid, they can always look up the store it came from and see Mi11 Ultra isn't 5€ or 200€ phone. They'll see $919. Jesus, this are people who do this for as living, they know a difference between items and they can also read EAN codes from products and their names and look up what they really cost. But if you wanna look up fines and jail time for tax evasion, be my guest. I've imported enough things from US and China to know how customs work. Stop acting like a smarta**.

I bought my Find X3 pro at 950€ from Giztop back when it was at a pricey 1200€ and above for the global model.
Mi 11 Ultra costs 1200€ here.
Importing from China will cost as low as 900€ for base variant.

It's a price aggregator for European shops and cheapest Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra I can find is 1441,99€. You'r eprobably not even from Europe and you're all smarta** now. I am and I know what prices we have because Geizhals is usually the one that finds lowest prices. If you import it from China, you'll get customs charges and VAT on top which is instant 220€ on top of 1000€. Plus if anything goes bad you'll have to send it back to frigging China. Have fun sending a 1k device to China and hoping it actually gets back. Or at least in one piece. Or paying stupid shipping and insurance costs. No thanks.

I imported the Marble white edition (12gb/512gb) at 1150 Euros here in Europe.
I have been using iPhones way before you even held a smartphone in your hand.
Almost a decade later, I have switched to my first Android phone as a daily driver.
Not worth it?? 300€ phone user going to decide whether 1000 Euro flagship worth it or not?
