              Titanium is roughly 30 times the price of aluminium, can you imagine how much will be in the alloy Apple uses?
              Marketing gimmick, nothing more.
              Huawei used a ceramic frame for the P40 Pro+, that's innovation not this.

Titanium would be much more resilient against that. So no, not just marketing.

                        "this way "forcing" the status focused users to upgrade" The heck is that supposed to even mean? A status focused person wants the newest tech regardless. And a new phone launch doesn't mean you paid less for your phone than you did.
