zaryan, 30 Jul 2021Why Snapdragon 888 is less common compared to 870 ?888 is prone to overheating mainly because of Samsung's fabrication process. 870 is more heat-efficient because it was fabricated by TSMC.

Read the update, 2 years of OS updates.
This should silence those who complained about OS update policy.
i wish they could confirm about stereo speakers...at least in the pro model

Moto and Lenovo must be smoking some rocks when they announced this.. that asking price and 2 years OS updates with bi monthly updates :/ would rather hold out until October and get the S21 FE that's gonna be cheaper or even the pixel 6 which will cost slightly more but will be better

I get the feeling that they threw all the egs in the basket reagrding to camera and display.
They have completly forgotten about the stereo sound. It may be forgiven on G series (even if many phones already have but ok) non demaing users want care that much, but when you´re talking about upper mida range or flagship material, it´s simply not acceptable, specially when last year both Edge had this.
All the rest ok, even if there is less battery capacity , many people will prefer to have a light phone, (me for instance) rather than a heavy one. And OLED screens are also more efficient too so i´m not bother about this too.
They have managed to lower the prices , and the Edge Lite is a fine addition, even if the OnePlus Nord 2 is miles ahead for the same price and it would vbe my choice.

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2021Okay grandpa, thanks for clearing that out.Getting more updates is a mixed bag. Yes it´s true that you´ll enjoy the lattest aditions of Google and new UI features true. But like this guy says, the chance to have bugs and have worse perfomance and battery life is also higher.
In the end if you want support proper support get a Pixel.

Well the specs for edge 20 pro are very good for 650 euro. Could be a real challenger to op 9r and realme gt. And edge 20 lite doesn't seem that good but edge 20 vanilla does
