DxOmark gives Huawei P50 Pro's cameras its highest score yet

Besides, another user already explained to you why DXOmark's ranking system doesn't favor the Samsung phones. Stay upset.

Also isn't it fishy to test at 4x , 8x rather than 5x and 10x which should be more common.

Read the review, funnily the P40 Pro makes better photos in certain conditions.
I guess the P50 Pro requires a few updates to get everything unequivocally better.
The 30x zoom is something to behold. Everything above that is 100% useless.
The Mi 11 Ultra is not much worse. Hopefully SGS 22 will beat them both.

With 3x tele and 10x periscope 10MP camera with 1.... moreBecause DxO protocol doesnt favor Samsung camera system. DxO test it with x4 & x8 (if I'm not mistaken), whereas S21U solely depends on x3 & x10. If you've seen the test they made to Mate 40 & P40 Pro+ (x3 & x10 zoom) its the same way.
The differents is, on that range they tested (x4 & x8) Huawei did better, because Super Res algorithm are used. Samsung did not, just digitally cropping them. Nothing wrong on the score system. Like I said, its just that DxO standard protocol didnt favor Samsung's image algorithm zooming system.

If the corruption wasn't consistent towards specific brands then I would have thought DxO don't know sh**ttt..
They gave Autofocus mess S20 ultra 96 AF score and S21 ultra 86..

Samsung gets very good mai... moreYou really should do more research about this...Watch more reviews on youtube etc etc. Samsungs pictures ARE SATURATED, and there is a reason why iphone still make better pictures and videos. Even through it doens have a proper zoom lens. I hate both samsung, and apple, but hes right. For years samsung has been known for oversaturating pictures. Some like it, some dont, but PROFESSIONALS definitely dont like it. Sure the RAW pic mode is there for a reason, but the point still stands.They take good pictures?yes. Re there better phones which take better pictures and videos?yes.

With 3x tele and 10x periscope 10MP camera with 1.22 micron pixel gets 96 zoom score. with 1 single lens Huawei or Xiaomi gets 50% more score.
That alone tells everything.

I have seen the pattern... It's always about the zoom. This score decides the winner and DxO gives the score to whomever they want whatever score they want.

To all those who call dxomark a scam because of the low scores on samsung phone.
Samsung phones take very saturated photos, in the eyes of a regular consumer who will take photos to post them on Instagram the photos taken from a samsung phone look perfect, BUT to a photographer or someone who is interested in photography it's kind of a nightmare. Those people want to take photos with accurate colors and enough detail and color information since they want to edit them.

Definitely a paid review. C'mon, why wouldn't yall believe that it's paid? Most of the people here just tend to defend DxO and Huawei.
Huawei has clearly paid them and DxO's testing may be "tHoRoUGhLy" it's just enough to give it away to anyone else.
No one really should trust this website anymore, c'mon.

Dxomark is an excellent database for that.
