Immediately after launch you will always find a bunch of reviews from review sites for almost every big launch before the phones are on sale to the public. It all depends on whether the company has given a review unit or not to the reviewer. Look at this site even. It often produces reviews before phones are commercially available

For all of you camera enthusiasts that want to learn and be good at mobile photography take a look at this sample to realize how wrong it is.

This is wrong on so many levels. What is the subject of this photo? Room or a landscape? If it's a room than it's underexpsed compared to something that's trivial and that's background ooutside the window. If the subject is the landscape then you should not shoot it against closed doors and make it wide only half the shot.
That fact that DxOmark takes this nonsense of an image to talk about quality is a bigger nonsense in it self. None of the phones subjected to this shot have lit a up the room correctly, they all priortized what's outside the window. That's called HDR tona mapping virus when phone tries to even out the contrast and luminosity across the board and amateurs percieve it as wide dynamic range.

This is not even a day zero review since phone is still not available. This like t minus two weeks review which must be a first for any phone to day. They just waisted bunch of money but DxOmark must be popular in China. From what I can see people in the DxOmark office still use main camera sensor to take portrait shots, they must love egg shaped heads over there. Probably they are die hard fans of Coneheads movie.

Its so obvious that this is a paid “review”. The phone is still not out from the public but they got a review unit. It always happens to the flagships from huawei and xiaomi. Reviews of samsung flagships and iphones are always late.

The photo samples look decent but I wouldn't hold my breath about it. I'll wait until GSMArena made a full review of the phone, possibly with a little comparison against the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra since they both have a high Megapixel telephoto camera sensor.

P C M, 30 Jul 2021I think I have already said that here. That isn't a ne... moreActually, they test it at all possible focal lengths but only put up a few of them onto the website as examples. Samsung phones perform poorly in zoom test because image quality goes downhill in intermediate zoom ranges, something Huawei and Xiaomi take care of very seriously. 2,4,5,6,7,8 and 9x zoom will look crappy on Galaxy S21 Ultra. They look fine on P50 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra because software is smarter.

Then why did S21 ultra get tha... moreIt got a "bad" zoom score because the quality was bad at 5-9.9x zoom and as I've said before, Samsung over saturates their photos which look better for sosial Media but mediocre for a photographer (and photographers review the phones there)

Anyway DxO should update their protocol system, but if they update, it will be messing up all the phone scores that has been tested.
As for Samsung, they should know how to tackle DxO. Like it or not, people still refers to DxO when it comes to smartphone camera ranking, and its the most popular one. Upgrade those image algorithm, Samsung. Even the 108mp is a waste if they didnt use it properly for intermediate zoom.

Even my beloved old (2018) Mate 20X is so close in picture quality vs ny trashy Samsung S21 Ultra, which says a lot or?
