                Japanese smartphone market is very special,have special requirement and desire for smartphone.
                Most of smartphones in Japan are sold by carrier, IP68 is in need and they have their own NFC standard(Felica).
                Chinese phone company never win a high prize in Japan,Huawei used to be No3 or 4 before Trump ban

                            Pls xiaomi stop making 7000 different phones with the same name. You should call this phone something else, like Redmi Z1. At this rate, soon every single country will have its own redmi note 10 variant.

The difference in performance is not that much, but with snapdragon variant it's easier to have a gcam mod installed or maybe some custom roms for a long-term uses.

                                      According to gizchina, this phone is priced at JP¥28.765, or around £220. Even if I'd still prefer a Dimensity series chipset if I want 5G at that price, if we assess the overall package, this is a massive middle finger to certain manufacturers who put the same type of chipset on their phones as this one (SD480) at £300-£500 price range.

                                        It's really sad for redmi give up on affordable redmi series.
                                        They are only focusing mid range redmi note series.

                                        No compact redmi under 5'5" with Snapdragon 400 series..

                                        They launched with MTK .
                                        MTK is powerful compared to Snapdragon 400 but biggest issue no developer support no custom ROM.
                                        And budget device really need custom ROM support as company even don't looks on mIUi bug's if you have budget device..

                                        Atleast developer community keep alive these SD budget devices 2-3 year's.
