Hey Google,
Sell them in Antartica and consider sending to the space too.
You never sell in the most usual parts of the Earth anyways.

Few minutes difference in battery? Frankly, if it's Exynos 2100 or Snapdragon 888, they are about the same damn thing. When you're in that kind of range, the chipsets are so fast it just doesn't matter anymore to be honest.

AnonD-1003038, 03 Aug 2021"Tensor" is based on Samsung's latest Exynos... moreI agree with ya. It'll be top of the line but won't be the best of the pack (as they'll probably get out-benchmarked by the newer Qualcomm release).
But as far as phone performance is concerned, there won't be an issue with this chip on the Pixel 6 series. If it's made by Google for a Google phone....running a Google operating system: it's pretty much guaranteed to be optimized and to work flawlessly well on that device.
I'm as hyped as you!

yalim, 03 Aug 2021it's been the 6th generation and why still a very limi... moreThey're most likely only releasing them in 8 countries due to the fact that some areas tend to file lawsuits against them for selling products there firsthand. IIRC, something similar happened to Tesla/Starlink in India. Whilst that's a car/internet company (and so it's a different story), I imagine that the same principle is at play here.

Are you talking about the Google that Jeff Bezos, the owner of the largest company in the world in 2019, mentioned and said that he was the only competitor he was afraid of? But of course, surely he freaked out and Google is bankrupt, but wait, Elon Musk said the same thing, that it was the only company that was afraid, after all the largest billionaires in the world must have freaked out and you are right .. . truth?
"Google is such a small company that we back poor Google corporation"
Yes, it is quite small, only if they close their services they take all the phone companies, including Apple, since they sell their services in the cloud, but it is small, after all we can communicate through flares

yalim, 03 Aug 2021it's been the 6th generation and why still a very limi... moreYou do realize that the pixels are but a few of android manufactured phones. Which by the way dominate the market world wide commanding 2.8 billion hand sets activations far surpassing iOS. And Chrome OS beating out apple in desktop sales last year. Oh and Chrome the number one browser third year in a row in terms of usage over safari and and Microsoft combined. The Apple has gone rotten as of late

Macaulay Culkin, 03 Aug 2021The longer the software support, the longer you can keep us... moreSo? You need to keep up with OS versions on iPhones, but you also get actual updates for WAY longer. In the end they both have about the same long term support. Android just leaves you on old version and allows you to use it for longer in its outdated form, where iOS requires you to stay up to date all the time and then stops supporting you after this period.
Phones that still have Android 5 or 6 were released in 2014/2015 (and I can tell you I already had issues with 5.1.1 where apps just weren't there anymore on GooglePlay). iPhones from that period (iPhone 6s) are also still eligible for iOS 15. That's how far they actively get new versions. Then there is 2-3 years gap between relevant latest version and version that gets dropped. Which means iPhone 6s is eligible for support up to iOS iOS 17 or 18 (won't get them, but will continue to work in this period and only receive security updates). That's support till 2022 or even 2023. A device from 2015... After this time you can still use the phone, but anything past this time is not guaranteed. Applies to both, Android phones or iPhones.

People get new one because they just want.
Tons of people buy get new iphone every year despite the fact Apple gives 4 versions of iOS.

The longer the software support, the longer you can keep using the phone. Now with Android, it's not as bad because you can still have Android 5 or 6 and they can still run most apps. But on iOS, you are forced to update the firmware sooner every 2 to 3 years or so.
I just love having that peace of mind knowing I get 5 year support and another 5 years still being compatible with Android 17 or whatever. That's a decade use I spent on a $1000 phone. Only $100 per year. The iPhones are expensive but they do age better than Androids.

AnonD-1003038, 03 Aug 2021How exactly? No one admits Apple is doing "their own t... moreApple relies on Android smartphone makers to build their phones. The display, RAM and storage is supplied by Samsung. Camera sensors are from Sony. The data modem used to be bought from Qualcomm for a long time (Intel now). Corning supplies them the toughened screens and the ceramic shield is made by Corning and not Apple. Processors are made by TSMC (Taiwanese). All companies source parts from each other but Apple doesn't make all their stuff of their own despite their trillion dollar gleam. Even the battery is sourced from the chinese companies. Most of the parts are sourced and not manufactured by Apple on their own, despite their users believing that they are very independent and make / design all their stuff in house or all on their own
Whereas Samsung manufacturers almost all of this stuff on its own. These companies can literally end the fruit man's entire career if they stopped providing apple with parts they require. Fact is that android smartphone companies are to credit for their success
