For the price, it's a good phone. We gotta see the results for the front camera, otherwise it's a definite buy.

    I like the older Mi Mix models for being daring and different. This one doesn't really float my boat. Dare I say it, it looks rather generic. The only reason why I would want this phone is because of the UD front camera, which I still don't really care about.

      Amazing product in all aspects ..... Would have been a dreamer if it had 5000mah plus battery as its already quite heavy ... Needs to see its battery life with heavy usage. Hopefully SD 888 PLus helps

      But despite of that, as said, true flagship in every aspect

You still suffer battery degradation and usually it's worse if the phone is plugged in for long periods. Not to mention the inconvenience of slow charging.

In conclusion, yes, using your fast charging capable phone with a slow charger will extend the batteries lifespan. Including higher power charging circuitry within the phone does not effect how fast charging effects battery degredation.

                Not a huge deal consider I can use it for 6 hours at max brightness with a healthy load of gaming, but still really nice feature. If you think fast charging is a gimmick, you must never need to charge your phone during the day.

                        Nice inclusion. Xiaomi it's nice to see you push other OEMs to do better too. Waiting to buy a copy of your tech from oppo though, I like colour is & there less bloat & ads than MIUI which you have to switch off recommendations in individual apps

                            going back to two and half hour for charging is fair bit more difficult than i expect.

                            With the new efficiency, i no longer need to plug charge my phone the moment i awake and before i do my entire morning routine.
                            I simply plug it when i go to bath (my last routine) and go to work.
                            Usually my 5000mah phone will be at 20~30% in the morning and charge for around half hour it'll already at 80%+.

                            In my old redmi 5 ai with slow charge? in half an hour, from 20~30%? thats barely fills at 50% and that will be sub 20 after lunch.

                            Battery life is something that still on the fence but i change my phone for every 2~3 year so, it'll be fine for the most part. Not to mention the 30W, 60W, and 120W is basically the same charging scale. Its just the battery is split from 1 battery cell (30W), 2 battery cell (60W), and 4 battery cell (120W)

There will be little to no degradation because you're only plugged into the charger for 15 minutes. You're more likely to get more severe battery degradation plugging your phone in overnight.
