Many people think that this is deliberate by the operators to get people to update to 5g. I don't know if that is the case but I ended up having to switch to a 5g phone as the slowed down 4g was annoying me and I couldn't do things like listen to international radio and make skype calls anymore (which previously worked fine on 4g). I definitely noticed some improvement having switched to 5g (although probably not as much an improvement as I expected)

I am expecting that Demongornot guy to again write an article with twice as many words as the original GSMArena's article and will try to convince people how those ugly pop ups (which are biggest hurdle for water and dust resistance) are better than this because someone wants to keep clicking his photos every now and then.

This is a China specific device as of now. And 5G has been implemented in China, unlike third world countries. So, you don't need random 13 5G bands for 5G to work on your phone in China.
It's only the countries which have no clue about the specific 5G bands they'll be using in future where 13 5G bands are needed. So that, whatever band they come up with, a phone has it already.

Aierlan, 12 Aug 2021This is a China model though not intended for global market... more4G is still quiet fast according to me. You don't need 500Mbps plus speeds on smartphones. You will finish the quota assigned to you within hours. Carriers needs to work on extending fiber to the towers and aggregating more and more 4G bands.

They are already making excuses for the poor selfie camera the phone has. They should have stuck with the hole-punch camera or a pop-up camera.
I have my doubts about this phone being a success

I could easily buy a phone without front camera, just to have a full screen without bezels/notch, this phone is the closest thing to that right now.

The "11 Lite 5G" has 13 B... moreThis is a China model though not intended for global markets so 9 5g bands is quite reasonable (although not as many as some competitors). However, 5 of the bands depend on future updates from operators ( n1, n3, n5, n8, and n28). The Chinese 5g model of the Mi11 lite/youth actually only supports 5 5g bands (with two of these dependent on future operator updates). I assume you are comparing with the global mi11 lite 5g

I think i really want that mix 4 because what i need now is a perfect view when watching,
and i rarely use selfies, maybe the last selfie of me was at Chinese new year party couple months ago.
For zoom meetings i use a laptop, so yeah that mix 4 is perfect

I'd rather have a 500ppi device with a selfie cutout than a 400ppi device with poor selfies and lower quality. The tech just isn't up there yet
