Why not invest more in motorized popup cam (waterproofing is the issue tho)? Or go all the way and do away with the selfie cam instead? I know it's kind of blasphemy to say that in this age of pandemic, what with all the wfh things we gotta do, but I'd say some people can live without it.

At least they've done better than Samsung for this tech though. The selfie cam disguise on the fold3 feels way sorer in the eye than it was on an older Axon.

Mi Mix 3 can do the same thing as well. Heck, it's no different from the Mi 9T/9T Pro, ASUS Zenfone 6/7/7Pro/8 Flip, and Samsung Galaxy A80. Unless if the Mix 4 has a true IP68 rating like the Mi 11 Pro and the Mi 11 Ultra, I'd just buy the aforementioned phones.

Nope. Best selfies are still Pixel 3 from 2018. Ultrawide angle cam, night sight, and autofocus on front facing camera. No one compares to Pixels selfies photos. For videos, it is Iphone. But, best selfie right now technically is Mi 11 Ultra or Zenfone 7 Pro

I really like this logic - for full-screen experience they will still cripple the display and make the selfie cam completely useless as a bonus. yeah, that makes sense :D
