The upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 trio will feature Snapdragon 898 chipsets (not Exynos 2200)

19 August 2021
All three, Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra, will support 45W fast charging, just like the Tab S7 generation.

Stupid design decision by Samsung.
No one would have minded if the upper bezel was a couple milimeters wider to house the front camera, but everyone will immediately notice that their screen is not a perfect rectangle.

Anyone else noticed a notch on the 14.6 inch model in that size chart?

new leak, the note 20 ultra can be used as a mouse 😅

Exynos 2200 is so good that even Samsung won't use it

talha5007, 19 Aug 2021whats wrong with their naming scheme, come on sammy, canno... moreThat is why Samsung put the word 'Tab' next to the Galaxy, we know that it means Samsung's own Android tablet.

Samsung has always use Snapdragon chipsets for their flagship Galaxy Tab models, so it's good to see Samsung continues this tradition. All that is left to see is how well-optimized the 898 thermal, especially for Android devices with custom UI like Samsung's own OneUI.

There should be a 11" OLED 12gbRam/512gb 8mp/5mp wide Camera spec too.
not everybody want such a large tablet.

otherwise, alot ppl are going for iPad Pro 11 just because of it's size and performance.

I am using a Tab S6 256gb ram, AP set from Singapore - sad but truth.

                            Galaxy Tab usually use Snapdragon.

I imagine Windows 11 Samsung Tab - especially W11 boasted having android app supported. Somebody has ported W11 @ Lumia and proven telephony functions too.

                            W11, Stylus Pen, 5G telephony, OLED, 8gb/128gb, 12gb/256gb and 16gb/512gb
It's easily a Apple M1 Macbook and iPad Pro, iPad Air Killer $500-$800 for 12inch.

Let this be true for their future smartphones in India as well. Qualcomm's chips are always better. Though the SD888's heat management and battery efficiency is not great. Let's hope the SD898 will solve this. Personally, I don't think the cpu and gpu on the top of the line SoCs are alreadt way too powerful for daily needs and even for mobile games. So battery efficiency and better heat management should be the priority with little incremental improvements in performance.
