Xiaomi to address the proximity sensor issue on some of its phones

Xiaomi has already found a new supplier for its sensors and will push OTA update to the affected devices.

Because they tried to make a quick buck by using virtual proximity sensor instead of an physical IR one.

          This is why you don't buy a "flagship" phone from a China company. Their budget ones are good value but their quality control is too poor for flagships
