Leakster: the Xiaomi 12 will have a triple 50MP camera with a 5x periscope

The Mi 11 Ultra is already close to that with a 50+48+48 MP camera and a 5x periscope. The next ultra will probably have a 200 MP camera, though.

You might think it's good but then you compare it to compact camera such as RX and then to actual comacoder such as ZV90 and the difference is like night and a day in everything.

      The best moibles could do for video is to give us 25fps burst mode in camera app and then we could stitch the sequence in desktop software.

                          And screen. Screen should be larger. Finally they should beat this annoying small 6.8" sizes and make 7"+ )) Xiaomi finally should make it totally oversized, heavy, slippery, with thick camera block and totally unusable in one hand and impossible to carry it in a pocket 👍

That sensor was also from Samsung. What I want to say it is pointless to make a 200 MP camera which will take only 12 MP shots.

                                I hope we see some actual advancements next year with all brands in their camera departments, Brands like Xiaomi are killing it when it comes to cameras, Samsung and Apple better step up their game

Also,... moreYes, I think so, as I have seen reports that Xiaomi will also be puting the same sensors on their upper redmi midrange phones on Q4 replacing dependable 686/682. If they do that, it will really blur the line between the midrange and flagship, in terms of camera performance.

The GN2 Quad Bayer sensor in the Mi 11 Pro/Ultra also outputs a photo resolution of 12.5MP after the pixel binning. Same story with the main camera sensor in Huawei and Vivo's flagship.
