I just hope the chip isn't crap and that it has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

AK, 30 Aug 2021Totally agree. The slim tall aspect ratios are ludicrous I have a 8" tablet with a SIM card slot. Maybe I can go out with my tablet and keep it to my ear for phone calls and people will think I have a prototype for a trendy super MAX phone to be released next year.

Duderino, 30 Aug 2021I want this. Mi Max 4.I don't want it, everytime it came with inferior specs. Max from Xiaomi were lower mid-class phones.. while this one will be an upper mid ranger phone with its speedy Dimensity 1100 CPU.

Finally a big phone with modern specs suitable for media consumption just like the oldie goldie Mate 20X! I'm sick of using devices that's made for kids hands like 6.5~6.8".
Hopefully it comes with fast refresh rate too. Either way it's an instant buy for me.

I don't mind big screen, but tall aspect ratio is a no-no. Samsung seems to get the phablet idea right with the Galaxy W all the way back in 2014 by having a 16:9 screen in a 18:9 body. 16:9 is still the gold standard for mass media production, you can't deny that.
