Nick Tegrataker, 02 Sep 2021Except it doesn't. The samples presented GSMArena'... moreGsmarena review is old. They have added the feature in new update

    HP1:main camera sensor of Mi12
    GN5:ultra wide senaor of Mi12Ultra
    GNx(maybe called GN3):main camera sensor of Mi12 Pro/Ultra, 1in size and 50mp too
Mi12Ultra will have three different 50mp sensors for both main, ultra wide and telephoto camera

Question: Do women care about the size of your megapixel? :p (jk)

But seriously though, this absurd megapixel race is stupid. The whole approach is wrong. But it's easier to advertise, so they'll keep doing it this way. :S

The software plays a huge role.
Hardware wise Sony has nothing to offer. Sony doesn't make it the software remember?
Pixel used Sony and brought the best out of Sony.
They'll do the same with the upcoming GN1 on Pixel 6

Guys. The sensor is smaller, they are working on a 250mp 1 inch version, I think.

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2021There is no match for Gn2 right now. Sony has nothing. "Sony has nothing"

We honestly don't know. Didn't Pixel always use Sony's sensor? Also, there was that new Sony sensor on the Zenfone 8.
Like I told you, they dont need to match the high MP count in order to make a good sensor. They can pretty much do a huge 12MP one, put bigger pixels on it and be done. That's the best approach for speed/quality.

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2021We're are you viewing your pictures? On my colour-calibrated Acer Nitro 27" FHD gaming PC monitor, of course. I'm not that stupid enough to just view the pics from the phone screen itself since different smartphone brands have different screen calibration.

This looks so wrong. What happened to the 16k support.

What's that diagram saying that the colour filter groups 16 pixels at a time, how are they going get 200mp proper color from that?

Is that diagram there saying all the pixels are one color where binned it becomes another colour, that makes not much sense? Are we going have that retardation of Samsung reconstructed higher pixel modes from lower binned pixels again. That was insane ... Which looked like it.

What's the truth. They don't want people to laugh do they??

I would rather like to see a smartphone with a 24 megapixel Bayer sensor or 96 megapixel Quad Bayer sensor. As smartphone cameras capture much more light than several years ago, only 12 megapixels isn't necessary anymore.

Stop... moreLol please, then tell me why most modern chipsets aren't still capable of doing triple camera capture, especially when it comes to video recording. In Qualcomm's case, only the 888, 780G, 778G, and 480 can do such a thing. The rest are hopeless.
