OhNom, 09 Sep 2021Android will finally have mobile phones without notches /sIn all honesty, punch holes are not any dumber. They are still there and they are actually inside the content. Despite how much people whine how notch is a intrusion into display it's really not. The "horns" notch creates are extension of display so permanent status elements are placed there instead inside of main content display area. And since iPhones don't do notification icons on top like Android, it's enough to extend display area and not sacrifice it for time, signal icons and stuff. Plus, FaceID is something I'm willing to have notch for. Yeah, it's that good, pandemic or not.

And why didn't you name the leakster Jon Prosser? He went thru a lots of trouble to give us the renders of iphone 14 even before 13 is out. Talk about fair media...

Next years iPhone 14 will have a notch. These renders are based on false speculation and rumors. iPhone 15 will have a pin hole display.

Custom made Rolex and Bentley Lambo ferrari use them.
No one deliberately will or perpoulsy cause scratches unless when you glide or even when dropped it won't scratches.
