Trying to justify the minimal updates by saying that other phone makers are 2 years behind them in chip performance? What has actually happened to Apple. No originality or groundbreaking ideas/tech anymore.

What are you talking about? We had that moment in 2017 already :D Funny how back then Android boys said it’s useless and no-one will see the difference ;)
As i use 120hz daily and switch between iPhone 60hz, there isn’t any noticable difference which would bother, if i really want to see the difference i see very small difference. I don’t know if it’s something to do with that you just see it way more clearly when using big screen? But it have never bothered me, but when i had to send my iPad Pro to fix for week, i used my old iPad, and it wasn’t smooth. Well it was first iPad Air, so that might have been reason too to spot so big difference.
Fun fact, 60hz also isn’t problem for Android boys in tablets :D
