Just accept it apple is always late in terms of design but yes ios is preety good but it gas way less functionality that android but it is well optimized

All that useless things and guess what iphone 14 is getting puch hole display.The truth is only ios is good i mean the optimization is far better than android.And yes about that 55% increase lets see how that performs after running heavy games for 15mins.

But they're some copied successes too; OLED ins... moreIt's hilarious everyone whines how Lightning is "useless" and just straight out ignoring the fact Lightning PREDATES (predating something means being released before it, since people here seem to have hard time grasping what "predates" means) USB-C. Lightning was the first commercially used reversible connector and it was one that was actually mass used from that point. It's just now, several years after release of USB-C that we finally see wider adoption. Still seeing phones released with microUSB in 2021 is just absurd. Nothing needs to be that cheap that cost between microUSB and USB-C is the defining factor.

The ultra long term software support, absolute smoothness of OS, always absolute top of the line chipsets, amazing displays across the board (not that you'll understand anything other than number of pixels and refresh rate anyway) down to basic things like not cheapening on basic things like freaking material used on the back of the phone (Samsung and their dumb plastic backs on phones that cost 900€ wtf).

OLED ins... moreFast wireless charging causes heat which deteriorates the battery much faster. For cheap brands that don't care that's OK since their phones either fall apart or lag too much in a couple of years. ( Xiaomi ect).
Also the notch is needed for PROPER face ID which can be used for Apple pay , secure banking aps and work apps too , its that good.
