Some manufacturers have clever seals that leave watermark from the sticker on the box so there is no way you can reseal it again. On the other hand everyone cans shrink wrap a box with proper tool such as wrap heat gun

if truly ca... moreWtf, paper decomposes very fast, the thing is that the paint on the box may be toxic, or not, who knows, but seriously, paper can be easily recicled and it disintegrates very fast, unlike plastic that can take a whole century to decompose.
Also, nowadays papers are made from continuous reforestation, papers are eco friendly, synthetic plastics aren't.

How is this step any good? I mean it makes the packaging less secure and anyone can take advantage of it.
There are more chances of theft rather than a bid to save environment.

Reducing plastic waste is a welcoming step but removing charger & just giving you the lightning cable in the box is so stupid. If they really wanted to save environment by removing all those means they should reduce the price too. Just Apple things. Sad trend is android manufacturers too following this stupid step of so called saving environment.

Just ordered an iPhone 13 Pro... but even I have to say this is just ridiculous.
Sony did this nearly ten years ago (and still do) and people gave them crap for ruining the "premium unboxing experience" while praising Apple.
Now that Apple is doing it... oh yeah, the environment is suddenly so important.

use BioDegradable BioPlastic
but they don't,,
since it can't last long and expensive
