Samsung details the cutting edge features of its 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor

The 4x4 pixel binning mode gives this sensor an effective pixel size of 2.56 µm. 2x2 binning can be used for 8K video capture with minimal FoV loss.

Only reason I'd want such massive sensor is to have lossless digital zoom. Storing such massive images is waste of storage space and only comes in handy in very rare cases where you need to later crop (digitally zoom) things once again.

Even for combining of pixels, I don't think it makes much sense. Zoom part is pretty neat though.

    If it's gonna be Xiaomi CIVI(old CC) with snapdragon 778/780 so it's waste of sensor
    if they use SD 888+ probably we will see great pic

      I still prefer the GN2 because of the more pixel and sensor size
