My i5-7500 System with 16GB DDR4 is something I plan to use a lot longer than that at home for my kids for educational purposes. I dont want to be forced to buy another PC in 4 to 5 years cause they stop supporting security updates for Win 10. I am sure there will be millions like me.

The issue is Microsoft plans to update windows versions for free. So the new revenue would come from new PCs sold as they will be licensing Hardware builders. The sooner they can make the existing PCs obsolete, the more new PCs will be sold. All about Money.

A TPM is a clearable chip that stores keys that you can erase, not a fingerprinting device. You really don't understand any of what you're saying and keep spreading the same nonsensical reasons (you replied to someone else that anti-cheating thing again, which I already debunked as nonsensical and not something a TPM can be applied to). Even Bitlocker does not require a TPM and offers alternative solutions because no, a lack of TPM will never cause any issue, just as you can go without an optical drive and have a fully functional PC. Please, please, that's not something I say often but go educate yourself on PC tech.

But you still miss my point, that Microsoft is forcing people to update from their "last major OS" for ridiculous reason.
If you can't see, that this is forcing a new hardware, I can't help you.

Ok, nice can a PS5 and XBOX Series X run Blender? Can they run Vegas? Can i install mods in their games? Can i even pirate software/games?
At least there's a way of running emulation on the Xbox but is not officially supported anyways. So they may remove the option for it in the future.

Well, PS5 can run 4K 60fps, Xbox too. And I gave similar price for 1080s back then, so there is the point. You can buy either worse PC, or save for better. Microsoft is denying you the second option, because if you want to save longterm for 3080, i9 etc, it will span on bigger time, but last longer. What Microsoft did was basically denying you buying better PC for sake of security. It will have opposite effect. People witll rather run W10 withouit security updates, than replacing perfectly fine PCs for W11.

Actually it part of a TPM chip has to do with bitlocker, it helps to have more random numbers saved on device. (last time i checked)

And i know you can install Win11 on a old CPU, just don't complain when you run intro issues or incompatibility.
Look what happened with Windows vista, it was too heavy for the PC that were common back then, Windows 7 came out by the time everyone had a powerful enough PC to run it.
MS prob doesn't want the same situation to happen again.

People will always come up with ways. That's, again, assuming everyone's running Windows 11 on 'supported hardware', which, if you don't know, so many people are already running Windows 11 without. And it's not even that hard. Just head to UUP dump, download an ISO and replace a bunch of files, clean-install it and, voila, you're running Windows 11 on your Core 2 Duo. So much for 'having to choose'.
