Mmm, but the price tho...

    1500 $ without 23W USB-C adaptor? Really?

I really don't get why there is no outer display and I don't see the point of this kind of device is it a tablet or a phone? And why is it so expensive?

        Now this looks good.

"although you will have to get the charger separately."

But of course, companies already learned that quickly.

Interesting piece of tech, but weird to imagine that you have to open it and to close it again to answer a phone-call. A small screen on the front would help here. So if someone is interested in folding phones, Galaxy Fold has better usability, I think. The device is also very large in wideness (> 90mm), so I doubt comfortable usage, too.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2021Was the first one even sold?r/SurfaceDuo says hi to you.

Finally, a much-needed upgrade from the first-gen model. The glance bar screen is a neat idea. That said though, I'm definitely looking forward to the camera performance since Microsoft has Ari Partinen in the Surface department. In case if you don't know who is Ari Partinen, he used to be a part of the PureView development team and also former Apple employee from 2014 until 2018.

But as much as I truly anticipate the new Duo 2, I don't think I'll be replacing my current LG V50 with its DualScreen case. It still shows solid performance.

I think those who're interested in this, would center their primary concern to battery life. I mean SD888 to

"The displays are also slightly curved on the inner edge so when the device is folded, the curves are visible from the outside and glow to indicate notifications."

That's a very neat feature to have, easy to see notifications without opening the device itself.

Wish it had Qi wireless charging, but even without that it is very tempting...
