The one on xperia smartphones is a gimmick as the images don't show any improvements despite the zeiss coating.

This is also confirmed by sites like DxOMark.

Chinese brands are excelling in the photography department whether it is flagship segment or mid range segment.

Huawei, Mi, Vivo hold the top 3 spot for best camera on a smartphone this year.

It still captures a very wide range of light with excellent tonality so definitely good for manual editing, but it's more of an "average-consumer-friendly" feature rather than an enthusiast-oriented one like Google's HDR+ RAW, which is completely free of post-processing.

The 📷 with better I.B.I.S are ones with larger body.

Vivo does not use gimbal for main camera. You should not compare both phones.

LG Superfan, 27 Sep 2021Apple's ProRaw isn't true Raw it does some proces... moreNo, Apple's ProRaw is RAW+processing information in a single file. You can de-laminate the effects from the RAW image and use them as you see fit. You can use it all or you can use none of it and work with just the raw image data. Or you can even use just a certain segment of it that you might want.

With regular RAW you just have a raw sensor dump and anything you do to it is done after the fact without any context to the actual scene that was shot at the time. ProRAW offers the same, but also gives you context for the scene on in the moment shot was made.

The Ultrawide as usual is garbage in low light.
Apple need to spend more money on bigger sensors, they need to stop being cheap.

The IBIS is gimmick at best because it's getting outperformed two years in a row by cameras that lack IBIS.
Vivo is the one who has implemented gimbal stabilization perfectly on their phones.

Anywayy, I'm having hard time to hold back my laugh seeing you acting like Sony's processing is natural. If you're shooting with Xperia during the day you will always end up getting extremely pixelated edges and oversharpening artifacts. The fun part is that their processing is so bad that 2x zoom on Xperia 5 Mark 2 is comparable to Mark 3's 2.9x zoom in quality. Hilarious!
