GSMArena sure knows how to pull traffic. This has been an ongoing tradition every year when iPhone gets released. Post something related to iPhone, bam all those salty boys never fail to amuse you in the comments section. It's time these people got their bearings right. Why the heck are you fighting for some stupid *ss company or corporate when you damn well know they don't give a damn about you? All of them are after your money. Buy whatever pleases you and be done with it.
Just in case your wondering, you can take DXO's rating with a pinch of salt. They have been known to manipulate or rig their scores solely on the basis of whether the said company paid them or not. In other words, just ignore them. You're far better off relying on GSMArena's testing rather than that site...

I'd get one if it had any close to a practical charging speed. Not used to have my phones on charging overnight. Also the 2.5x "telephoto" is comical, when my S21 Ultra has 10x and I use it a lot.

The iPhone 6 did not age well. Was stuck with 1 GB RAM when many Android flagships had 2 GB the year before. Note 2 and Nexus 4 already had 2 GB in late-2012.
The iPhone 6 still remains the best-selling iPhone model of all-time. Sold over 200M. Will likely never get surpassed by another iPhone even if it didn't age well.

Smallest iPhone Upgrades
1. iPhone 3G (2008)
2. iPhone 13 (2021)
3. iPhone 7 (2016)
4. iPhone 8 (2017)
5. iPhone XS (2018)
6. iPhone 6 (2014)
7. iPhone 12 (2020)
The 13 is the 2nd worst. The jump from 6S to 7 was a little bigger although iPhone lost headphone jack for good. The 8 did offer wireless charging the 7 lacked.
You can make an argument the XS was the second weakest upgrade but iPhones finally did get 4 GBs of RAM. XS was the X with only slightly better specs.
The 6's A8 was a weak SoC. The 6 was just a bigger and uglier iPhone. The 12 really wasn't much of improvement from the 11. That lost the rounded sides I prefer.
The 14 will be a better upgrade. The 13 feels like a side grade like the Pixel 5 is.

and most of time, they didnt redo the test when there are firmware/camera updates.
Just check their article, many of their review not even mention what firmware/camera version used when the test taken.
thus their test result/review not always relevant.

And no cameras aren’t overrated, it’s the biggest thing which matters for most smartphone buyers, people are upgrading their perfectly working smartphones just to get better photos and videos and it makes sense because so many want to share their lifes with others and collect memories.

Big whoop that the 13 mini surpasses the 12 Pro in photos. The 14 will lose the notch and Touch ID returns. Can be charged like an Apple Watch via magnet so the Lightning port could be gone. The 14 is a real upgrade.
The 13 is the most meaningless iPhone upgrade since the 8.

Ths typical praises for a new phone....
1. It's so smooth and fast!
2. Great cameras!
3. Great battery life
Then as time goes on, you'll grow tired of it. You are always chasing what's new. Got to replace it any way. Battery is dying. UI slowed down. Cameras got worse.
