Furthermore, the iPhone is not the reference. If the iPhone zoom is bad, this doesn't make Google's zoom better. The reference are rather crops of properly exposed (exposed to the right) single frame dng files and Google's zoom doesn't really outperform them at base Iso equivalent exposures.

Despite being part of AOSP, the OEMs nee... moreHigher end ones have LDAC. Anyway if you are into sound and really care about audio quality, you should be interested in LDAC only and proper non BT headphones, and powering them via DAC/Amp like Fiio BTR5 and connecting it via BT to a phone.

Many devices do not have LDAC.

A lot of this is just HYPE coming from phone sites like this and techtubers. Once they are released, the Pixel 6 Pro won't even win phone of the year awards.
Pixels needs to do a lot more than excelling in cameras specifically still photos. They're not great with video recording. Camera quality has hardly improved the last few years. Just added more cameras but didn't really improve their quality. Boredom will kick in by November.

The 150% more light per time are partly due to the larger field of view (24mm). Regarding light per time from objects, the Pixel 6 main camera will capture approximately 111% more light per time, if the leaks are true.

This because the 48MP 1/2" from samsung is actually a 12MP with artificial 48MP mode. Unlike imx582/586/589 that are 48MP.
But off course, the OEM needs to want to offer the 50MP mode. And nobody knows if google plans to.

It will get boring faster after its release. All phones are like this. Most of the excitement comes BEFORE you get it. Once you get it, it's boring again. Will start looking forward to all the devices released next year. That's the cycle.
Look at the Fold 3 and Flip 3. No longer is hyped since they're already released for over a month. Techtubers decided to focus on iPhone 13s. Then they'll focus selling us the new Pixel 6 Pro next week. With phones, it's always about what's next? What's to get excited from the next one? Nothing is ever still.
