Doesn't seem real. It's probally a joke. The 898 is prob to taunt at qualcomm for them using the meme on Google on twitter. The pixel 6 vanilla price might be true tho. Os maybe thier main value for money deal ro to undercut the competion phone is the pixel 6. Tho it still faves tough competeion from axon 30 ultra xiaomi mi 11 and onpleus 9.

                      It will be an big hit. And hope Pixel 7 series have the same excellent hardware and also the affordable price too. With both of these, Google can easily become the new Xiaomi without Xiaomi's MIUI weakness. I think Pixels this year arr gonna sell well and may just dethrone S21 Ultra and Mi 11 Ultra as the best phone of the year if you count the price, specs, software, and what you get. Hope that Pixel 7 is like this too

                          MORE RAM SUPPORT

An intel i486 33mega hertz from 1989 cost $1000. Why? Because of innovation and advancements in making better stuff cheaper than before. There is always a step change when new tech appears i.e. OLEDs or VR which are now fairly cheap.
                            Phone tech is always advancing as are other tech areas.

He is right to question the price increases. Profit margins have increased and manufacturing costs have decreased for the most part. R&D budgets change all the time, but the ROIs are calculated over multiple years and not from a single launch.
