KondriX, 24 Oct 2021I still do not understand why they aren't making phone... moreUses more power, requires more space and costs more.

I much prefer a good quality LCD, it's a very mature technology with less drawbacks than OLED/AMOLED.

That anon you replied to has no idea what he's talking about, especially when IPS LCD is still a widely popular choice for laptops and tablets.

KondriX, 24 Oct 2021I still do not understand why they aren't making phone... moreI'm assuming it's because of the battery, xenon flash would probably consume more power than led, especially if someone were to use it as a flashlight or something.

OLED uses less power, helps reduce the thickness of the phone, better blacks, etc.

Everything is quiote interesting but as long as the devices wil be made in china or india or vietnam and the difference between the price to make and fuinal selling price for a customer will be 3-5 times in difference noone will be satisfied.

Like the so called price cuts.
Have to just mention yesterday topic with Sony III comes to sale without charger.
Sony original chargers cost equal to apple so 25 bucks for cable and 25 for a wall brick.
But the lowered price on a phone sold without a charger was only a 10 bucks.

Litterary every flagship comes with same.
No charger in box, no earplugs, no 3,5mm jack, no sd slot either etc.
And compared to a same flagship which have all theses the final price is litterary same.

Just one thing why those manufactuers trying to make donkeys from its customers.
Literrary nothing new all mandatory things are gone and price is literrary same or even higher.

This world is crazy and unless we dont change it starting from scratch we will allow more and more things we dont want and dont like to be done for sake of overfeeding with money companies which will litterary never die.

It is so sad that only the S2 and S3 is the only phone using proper RGB matrix and the rest of it changed to the original Pentile matrix.Any new phone with RGB matrix 😭?

While some things improved, they removed many others. Why? There is absolutely no logic behind, especially now then phones are becoming larger and larger, surely there is more space for everything.
