[deleted post]But that is not fair comparison to, he is comparing to tiny 1/65" sensor.
I wonder why he the photographer didn't compare it to vivo X70 Pro Plus, Google Pixel 6 Pro or MI 11 ultra??
Proving that that it's yet another sponsored type video where you can't discuss many flaws.

Is it going to get more than two years of security updates and a singles OS version upgrade, like other Xperia phones? Sony wants to sell people these insanely expensive phones and then abandons them after two years. That's some hardcore planned obsolescence. The Xperia phones are perhaps the nicest phones, but until they get at least five years of updates, like iPhones and the new Pixels, I'll never buy one.

They have done a good job, but still I am a little bit disappointed. If they put a telephoto lens, why to put only 2x, I don't understand? If it was me, I would have chosen 3x, or 4x. And when Sony will go up from 12 MP? Of course MP is not everything, but it is also important, why we have DSLR and compact cameras with double or triple the resolution?

[deleted post]I never been a Sony fanboy since I never own an Xperia, but I always shoot photos in manual mode. Even for software-focused smartphone cameras, the difference between setting the values manually against letting the software do the job is totally visible.

                            1) I knew about XZ2 Premium was gonna show up in april/2018. Media did not even know this phone existed when xz2 was announced. Dual cam was why postponed. Phone was announced from nowhere. Silently in China event for XZ2.

                            2) It has WRGB screen, not advertised by sony nor tech sites. Also 144Hz LCD provided by LG.

                            3) xz4 was canceled, then 1 was created faster than usual.

                            4) one prototype of 1ii had periscope

                            5) 6 rear cameras phone was real. Got killed. One version had periscope, the other monochrome wide

                            6) you can expect more cheap devices with P35.

                            7) mark 2 and pro have same screen, but not same used by mark 1.

                            8) Pro-I = imx506

                            9) japanese 1iii has more graphite inside than international device because of the mmwave.

I asked this person the info because mobile version of photoshop/lightroom does not show. And I do not have the desktop software. Then I could not check the files I got from a photography website.
Person told me DNG files are 12bit.

Same person made clear Sony has no plans to make tablets again. But some works with foldable exist.

By the way, did you see Canon R3, Nikon Z9 and Sony 7iv do not use quadbayer? That tech you think it is best ever created by sony semicon. Curious to know if reason is lower quality full resolution or horrible rolling shutter, because if 1/1.3" HM3 is 30ms for 12MP mode, imagine if it was FF sensor, easily 80ms or worse.

flagship now has to be said cameraship.
