Anonymous, 26 Oct 2021I hope samsung goes for sd 778g plus this time instead of 7... more750 has integrated modem.

Kryo naming really confuses me when they're all literally rebranded ARM microarchitectures. Anyways, a small revision rather than an upgrade. Snapdragon 695 is...a bit interesting but nothing groundbreaking.

does 778g + has 5g carrier aggregation ? mediateks does have 5g carrier aggregation on their most midrange processors also some lowend processors have that too.

Well, at least that covers the odd question of what will happen to the 600-series after the numbers are used up. Same with the 400-series.

Great to see mmWave support. Finally Verizon and AT&T customers can get budget phones with full coverage next year

Qualcomm is nearly done. With Mediatek conquering entry and midrange, about time Chinese brands like Xiaomi & BBK start making their own SOCs.

great, more overpriced 5g soc's for snappy the dragon

What's the point of the SD 690 and 695 if practically no one uses them?

So basically, there is two overclocked chipset (778G+ and 480+), one brand new chipset (695), and one upgraded chipset (680). For me, it's the 695 that got my interest since it now uses the same Cortex-A78 CPU like the 778G/778G+, 780G, and 888/888+. Sony will likely use 695 for next year's Mk4 Xperia 10.

P.S I wonder when the 750G will get an upgrade or a replacement.

I hope samsung goes for sd 778g plus this time instead of 750g on their upcoming a53 and a73 5g series. The a72 was a ripoff i would say. Qualcomm had a 4g variant for the 750g and samsung did not put it in the a72 and just gave the phone a telephoto and price it $100 dollars more expensive than the a52. If they place a sd 778g or plus i would definitely consider it. The reason i didn't consider the a72 was becuz of the chipset that's all and went the the a52 series.
