Sony smartphone division's revenue is up 25% YoY for Q2 2021

In Sony's earnings report, the company shows significant improvement in its Mobile Communications division and the company's overall revenue is up 12.5% YoY.

I wanted to buy the lastest xperia pro-i,but price tag was totally out of reach for a normal consumer.

    I had very bad experiences with 3 sony phones mainly in the camera department. I hope they improve and make less noisy and more usable photos now.

      From my buying my Xperia 5 iii too after my last xz2 compact purchase 3 years ago

        Sony is doing so well because they have all the money I spent on the Xperia 1 III...

            Got the Xperia 10 iii, what a brilliant phone for the money. Sony has stuck to the basics in some ways with the phone still having a 3.5mm headphone socket, no ugly notches or camera dot stuck in the screen. love the fact it also still has a notification light and a micro sd slot. Apple and samsung take things away from their new phones and charge you more.
            No wonder people are coming back to Sony.

What's funny is that, all this talk about Sony being irrelevant, yet every Sony article comment section routinely gets 100+ comments.
                    Sony, right now, is the best it's been since the '90s. Leading headphones, dominating cameras, some of the very best TVs, and a smartphone division that's finally bouncing back. Not to mention PlayStation, Sony Music and Sony Pictures.
                    But if you were to learn anything from the folks here, they'd tell you that Xiaomi or realme are actually bigger companies than this Japanese giant.
