EMUI 11 was supposed to be based on android 11 but the restrictions made it harder to do so. This is the third year of Nova 5T's major software updates, as it came with EMUI 9, 2 and something years ago. You won't be getting another year of Software updates, these huawei phones listed above will. Plus Nova 4 is a year older than my phone which means its at its 4th year of updates.

In that time, phone with Android 9, and MIUI 10 out of the box. Today, yhis phone have Android 11, MIUI 12, and se urity patch for Oktober 2021.. phone that costs about 130 euros brand new in November 2019..
