It all sounds reminiscent of Onrplus sales are great but there are never any numbers, just fake news.
There have been alot of free gift sales, that kind of points which way the sales are going.

In many android mobiles, sensors are cleverly hidden to minimise the notch and also work equal to the proximity sensor on an iPhone or any other phone. Manufacturers are not that dumb to make this kind of mistakes

All these new phones doesnot have traditional proximity sensor in them. If you are someone who primarily use phone for lots of calls, dont buy any phone that has just one camera dot in the display, i hated apple for not removing the notch, but now gone thru the experience my self, i pray they dont get rid of it, the only phone that have proper array of sensors remaining in the market are iphone, sony, asus rog phones, and older pixels, unfortunately i have very bad experience with samsung s21 and ultras and note 20, . also all the xiomi redmi and everyphone that has a full screen without a notch and just one tiny punch hole for the camera are plagued with this problem....>> the problem; during call, screen comes on and your face presses what not, disconnects calls, mute them, strart call recording on xiomi phone, with telling the reciver in stupid voice that there call in been recorded and they get offended. I have searched and searched all over the world for phones that have proper proximity sensor, like samsung all note series had till note 9. iphoone is out of my budget, or i wont waste my time. i think the people who use really phone as a phone or are business owners and had to make calls in hundreds are feeling this, and they are very few. mostly kids are buying these phones for social media and they work fine there. but calling is really handicaped in all these new phones, even all the samsung phones, all the chinese phones, all the oppo, huawei, redmi xiomi realme and now this google pixel. its a shame, if you dont trust my words, just google the phone you want to buy and write proximity sensor issues in front of its names, alsso add reddit at the end. you will find actual people complaining about this problem.
Here is how the new system works in thses phones, it uses gyro to detect a hand going upto your ear, and then it activates some thing which turns the screen off. Now if you are sitting on a sofa half laying down, the whole phone going vertical doesnot work, because now you are holding the phone almost horizontally. simply put, its a software based solution which is just a big failure, problem is normal user will make 5 calls and might get this problem once or twice, the one who makes 100 calls will get it 20 times more.

Creda1, 31 Oct 2021I was the first in our town to get the Pixel 6 Pro 257gb...... more1) I had a Pixel 2 XL. If that is the bar to pass, you should be loving the 6 Pro screen. I loved the 2 XL but that screen was bad. There are three different saturation settings. Did you try any of them?
              2) Did you try a clean install? Simple troubleshooting steps work wonders. Haven't had a single app crash on me yet. Possibly an issue if you tried restoring from a 2 XL running on an older version of Android?
              3) Don't even know what this means. Scanning what? Documents? I do that for work all the time, works wonders on the 6 Pro. No idea what else you could mean with this.
              4) optimizations literally fixed this years ago. If an app eats battery, the system reports it and you can fix it easily. Check your usage in settings and take care of it.
              5) You can turn on the old nav buttons in settings. Anyone with a slight bit of knowledge of Android knows this.
              6) You are not optimizing apps properly. Did you give the phone more than a couple charge cycles to learn your behaviors and adapt to you?
              7) This one leads me to believe you either didn't have the 6 Pro at all or you had a faulty unit. The DUAL stereo speakers on the 6 Pro are excellent.
              8) Have literally never heard someone complain that a smartphone speaker is too bass heavy.

As I said above, if the 2 XL is your measuring stick, you should be loving the 6 Pro. I loved my 2 XL but that phone had major screen issues and battery issues. Your complaints are mostly not based on fact or you simply have no idea what you're doing at all. Or maybe you're a troll.

I really love the software design, way more versatile than iOS (from a person who just bought an iPhone 13 Pro BTW lol).

But the cameras are a bit of a hit and a miss and not nearly as consistent as iPhone 13.

2 models are just too big. there must be a smaller variant for each generation.

Pls remember at the time of survey battery figures of 3.5 he SOT was not available.
This weakness alone can change purchase decision of many.
I mean seriously three and half hour only. How's that even possible with 4600 mA plus battery.

Small sized phone ain't coming now or forever. Pixel 5 was a experiment and hence it offered a small sized display just for the sake of it.

Google won't be able to serve ads properly on a small sized phone.
