Yeah, I don't think so. Miui isn't always buggy and works great. Xiaomi releases phones at every price point and the hardware is great for the price.

Being creative i... moreIt is bad and even an issue with it means there is no diversity, every markets on the planet beside smartphone have diversity, even darn toothbrushes and nail-clippers have more diversity and offer way more choices for many needs and niches than smartphones does despite being stupidly simple stuffs, and while smartphone have a near unlimited amount of possible combination of designs and features.
Do we really need ALL the high end (beside Sony who is expensive as heck) to have a punch hole, no Jack and for all flagships a curved edge display?
Do we really need to have ALL middle to high range with 2Mp useless sensors?

Th... moreSimple, the competition is fierce, you tell me how you are going to beat someone who is now releasing the newest camera that launches in september when you release your stuff in march. The market is all about numbers and the numbers show that buyers are constantly crying about having the newest thing, this company just releases stuff faster so you can have that new new 50 mp camera instead of the older 48 mp and that just released 910 dimansity instead of last years 700 series. Just think about it, they dont change the core aspec just the needs they know people will want.

Being creative is a good thing, but companies have proven many times they suck on that regard.
I do want to see more innovation, but the smartphone design as it is creates a issue to that, in the pre-smartphone era that was much easier to achieve.

Don’t even think that’s a Mi 12. Check the Mi 12 Pro images in the internet. The punch hole is on the upper left corner not center. Screen is still curved
