Their phones are ok for me because I don' expect much from a phone but their MacBook is horrible the new M1 max is closer to a 3060 than a 3080 mobile

They need it to make sure iPhones look different from other phones, it's just that simple bruh. Nothing's stopping them from giving you a fingerprint sensor on the power button or under the display, face id is just an excuse to keep the notch which gives them a visual differentiating factor. And don't lie to yourself and pretend that a 2 trillion dollar company can't come out with a high quality under display camera technology within a year or two if they actually wanted to, lmao. They simply save features for future phones so you will have a reason to upgrade every year or two. I am curious when will Apple finally remove the notch and have a full screen display, it should be an epic moment.

3 nm! Can't even imagine why Apple's fretting over the little power efficiency it's going to give. Probably to increase the price, saying: "We've got 3nm chips and it's revolutionary. No other smartphone maker has it! Buy the new iPhone starting at a 1399 dollars and the Pro Max at 1999 dollars."

You can't fit that into a holepunch and under-display tech is far too experimental for Apple at this stage. Also, they've added the notch to MacBooks now. it's not going anywhere lmao

well, doesn't matter. they will change the cameras order, add a new colour and some new emoticons and sell it like the best iphone ever. their fans will buy anyway, they don´t care buying the same thing year after year.

Or they could just put the M1 chip in the Pro Max model and call it a day? They put it in the iPad Pro, so it should work just as well with an iPhone. We should be seeing am M2 at some point, however Apple seem to just be adding GPU cores to their existing design instead.
