3nm wasn't even soppused to be in 2022 if I'm right. Already trimming 1nm doesn't make much difference. But for example the jump to 7nm to 5nm was just fine only.

But I have encountered almost no phone which surround frame heats up noticeably. It's mostly the glass back and Display where heat dissipates.

3nm is already possible. In fact it was possible couple of years back.
It's not just ready to mass produce.

He keeps repeating it in every thread as an attempt to put down Chinese flagships (mi 11 Ultra in this case).
Honestly it's not even a problem. Connecting to TV through cable for desktop mode is a very niche scenario. The wired transfer speeds.. although slower compared to other flagships, aren't really a deal breaker considering they are fast enough to transfer a couple of gigabytes under a minute.

Hi, 02 Nov 2021We need to attach a cooling bank to the back of our phone ... moreI am actually doing that to my iPhone 12. If not I cannot play Genshin Impact at 60 FPS. It will start throttling very quick. Even 3nm technology won't help as there is no proper cooling system in place. End of the day, will still need to externally cool down the iPhone.
I am not complaining, but just stating facts. iPhone processors are fast enough to handle the processing, but the cooling is neglected altogether.

pro camera use sd/cf/uhs high speed, and most smartphone use NVMe/ufs.3.1 storage (except low-tier phones)
why u want to transfer-in-fly with usb port ?

2022 schedule if delayed few months will still cause issue in production schedule
then chips yield rate also matter, low yield rate wont work, because it wont catching up with the order

I don't understand this article saying iPhone 14 won't have 3nm.
Actually it never meant to have the 3nm in the first place. 3nm was always scheduled for 2022.

Now did you remember the article❓ ~ 2 months ago TSMS reported that there is a problem with 3nm. At the earliest in the middle of 2023, IF (❗) no new difficulties arise ... 🤓.
