I have used 4 smartphones, 2 tablets, 2 laptops and 3 cameras.
None of my gadgets have ever had damaged usb/mini usb/micro usb/lightning port.

ahhhh....lightning 🤣Just because you have a Type-C port, doesn't mean it will be USB 3.0 or 3.1 or 4.0. There are plenty of Phones with Type-C ports that are just USB2.0.
Lightning can be upgraded too to use USB 4.0 protocol if Apple Engineers get their lazy asses off of the benches and get to it.

There are probably a few places in shenzhen within huaqiangbei area that offers this modification service, might cost rmb 1000 to 1500, not exactly that difficult to find places that do this.

EU recently proposed a law to require all smartphones to come with USB Type-C, so if passed, we will see genuine iPhones come with USB Type-C from next year... At least in Europe.
