      Never had issues with games.
Used to have UFC, Real Racing 3 and Injustice (did not like the 2).
      Image quality was nothing bad.
      Worked well enough.

I do not have any on ipad because I just got tired of games.
Full of cheaters everywhere. Not counting when game itself is trying to sabotage you like car games do.

I just think its wrong of phone makers to advertize their phones are being able to game on when you clearly can't unless you play on lower settings which is not really enjoyable. When paying that amount for an expensive phone and CPU/GPU then they should be able to play the best and heaviest games on max settings for hours.

The SD 898 will have to be a well-cooled chip to shake things up. The 870 is good enough even for the average gamer while the average user will do with a 720G.

P.S. not surprised Apple apostles are once again hard at work. There's no evidence the A15 Bionic is better than Snapdragon-based android phones.

Almidani, 04 Nov 2021But whats the point when every reviewer explains how these ... more- Almost all games are played online. Phones get hotter when using 4G/5G.
            - people set the game to run at max graphics
            - play for long time
            - increase volume to near max
            - many phones have water resistance (harder to lose heat)
            - people set screen 120Hz/144/165/240Hz

This way even phones like ROG, Red Magic and BlackShark are gonna get very hot.

If you watch teardown videos, you can see that newer phones have more copper, graphite etc .. Compared to previous models.

If someone is really into mobile games, should get tablet.
It is not gonna overheat, no matter how long you play.
Not even tablet with SD810 (sony Z4T) had heat issues like phones.

Iphone 13 pro max here had stability 67%, while ipad mini near 89%.
            Both are A15.

The thing is they want to keep phones same... moreBut whats the point when every reviewer explains how these phones overheat when gaming or doing other intensive tasks? For example Sammy phones can use the majority of the CPU power for 15 minutes whereafter they overheat and throttle down to 20% of the CPU power. That's just ridiculous.

I am more interested in seeing the Dimensity 2000 or Exynos 1080 successor (if it ever leaves China that is).
This 898 will surely be a beast in terms of performance, but also in terms of heating and the most important of all price!!
So I hope to see how much the D2000 improves over my D1200 while being more efficient as well. I just hope OEM's actually optimise it better for idle drain.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2021A 2022 chip has obligation to be better than a 2021 chip. So according to you a chip launched in September 2021 to next year September 2022 when Apple would probably launch another one is a "2021" chip. Whiles a chip launched in December 2021 to December 2022 when Qualcomm would also launch another flagship SoC is a 2022 chip. How much does Apple pay you? Because per your Apple fanboy logic, someone born in December which is 3 months after September of a certain year is seen as a person born in the following year. smh

The difference between a15 and Snapdragon 898 will be a mere 2-3 months, not a year old.

Even last year, the a14 and Snapdragon 888 had a gap of around one month between their release.

Power is useless if it can't be maintained, there should be some serious cooling in SD89x phones and IMO everyone should focus more on efficiency now
