Come on, you can use WhatsApp on your tablets through WhatsApp Web, guys. Just go to Chrome and go to the WhatsApp site. At first, it won't display the QR code for you to scan. Now, enable 'Request Desktop Site' or just tick 'Desktop Site' (depends on your Chrome version). There you go, you can use it the same way as you do on your PCs and the Beta functions also work!

Something that Telegram does (better) since ages ago.
Still can't use a tablet... Google Messages can link a tablet and send/receive text messages, Telegram can do the same. The Facebook behemoth can't do the same..

...or you could just use Session and never bother about "linking" your actual fucking phone number to the identity you want to send messages under (as one could do back in ye olde times when messaging was still handled in a sane manner).
