Pixel 6/6 Pro's fingerprint reader stops working if the battery hits 0%

          I returned my 6 for the very same reasons.

          Back to my iPhone 11 for now

          I was more gutted that I paid £30 for the special 30w charger to find it not even possible.

            Every year the Pixel is trash and every year the Google bootl¡ckers say "no this year it's going to be really good"

                      too much annoyances for this c.r.a.p. phone:
                      * excessive thermal throttling
                      * unwanted calls
                      * greent tint/cracks & double screen hole
                      * battery drains fast
                      * no face recognition
                      * only charges at 22W max (even using a google's original charger)
                      * untrustable fingertip scanner

                      ...by the end of the year the list will be so big making absolute crazyness buying this phone !!!!

                          Something IOS fans will never understand. They needed updates since Apple slowly adds android features to their devices and call them innovation.

                                Good thing, I didn't buy the phone right off the gate. Pixel phones are prone to issues when they first launch.

Even after you charged your Pixel 6 to 100%, the fingerprint sensor remain dead and not usable anymore. Only factory reset can make the sensor work again.

But there are some minor bugs currently like fingerprint scanner not working, and also cameras not working, wifi not connecting and screen going black. I'm sure they will fix this soon.

                                      In my opinion, the solution is simple: purchasing a Xiaomi (or similar brand) phone, as they have extremely fast, reliable and secure fingerprint readers. And most can install Gcam, if the snappers are that important.

                                        Google should really let people test their phones before start selling them. Can't be too hard.
