AnonD-454049, 10 Nov 2021just buy a xiaomi or realme and install a custom romSadly the Redmi phone that I have has the MediaTek G95 processor. Custom ROMs for this do not exist yet. Next time, will be getting a snapdragon variant.

Folks shouldn't be discharging it to 0% a lot in the first place. Do the 80-40 rule. If you can't, still charge it as often as you can but shallow charges. Or don't use it when below 20%.
With that said, Google brought out a half-baked Android 12 that really wasn't ready for prime time. They rushed it.

It's not a Pixel if its bug free. Btw I'm also facing bugs on my Vivo phone after the last software update. Software bugs are now part of daily issues we face. It's like manufacturers don't test their phones enough or give them for testing to the novice before launch. Experienced bug hunters should be hired by OEMs to rigorously test the software before making the phones publicly available for purchase.
