Anonymous, 15 Nov 2021if you don't have a samsung why are you crying about i... moreI had 3 samsung devices before and they all were flagships (S and note variants) and they got ONLY ONE android version update. Period. If you think this is good record, you can go cry in Samsung fanboy stand.
The fact that Samsung only updates FLAGSHIPS that cost over 500$ and not the rest (which is more than 75% of the phones they produce) is the difference between Google that updates all series (flagships and A series) with at least 3 android versions updates.
I am a developer and I CAN make a custom ROM, but with Samsung's KNOX you canNOT root your device and then revert it back. No matter how many times you reset/flash stock firmware, once you trigger KNOX, you are done.
If you STILL think that Samsung is good, that plainly shows that YOU are the fanboy and I am the developer who knows what he talks about.
Now you can crawl back to Samsung icon and cry your tears you fanboy

Lets remind Samsung on the handsets introduced to market with initial OS as Android 10, 11 in the last 2 years. As Samsung doesnt have count on them. I see F and M series have been missed out.

And "3 years upd... moreThat's the point of Knox. It alerts you when someone has tampered with a device as a security method. I'll say Knox has never bothered me.
Rather than that, what would keep me away is that Samsung doesnt allows you to downgrade to an older bootloader, meaning that if an update breaks something and said update also updated the bootloader, you need to wait on then until they fix it.

Got it today for my S21 in the UK. Would hope they add more devices to that list though as other family members have capable phones that aren't on there.

Probably some major mistake in the list, considering that A12 is getting support, yet A22/A22 5G is missing.
