Sad that s20 fe won't get the update along with s20 series. It's been left out from beta also. Even though it has a flagship chip, Samsung doesn't treat it that way

Great news for s10 exex flagship will get new android earlier then s22 debut. Usually exflagship gets update after releasing new ones. Huge change but what's happend to tab s7? It's still current flagship tablet so it schould be updated with s21 or s20 latest.

I've had a few pixels and they give me the same experience / feel as an iphone, they do their job and nothing else, no frills, no extra goodness ...but they always like to include a few little ui bugs.

even 3 year old s10 series get the update with a 3 months delay. there are 2021 phones that don't get the update so soon. samsung raised the bar after 2018. good for the consumers. hope others will follow.

Wow...... moreS21 is only one flagship device from 39 other Samsung devices that DO NOT get update. If when you talk about Samsung device you ONLY MEAN flagships - then you are just plainly wrong.
Most Samsung devices (M variants, J variants some A variants C variants, most of tablets, Z variants, prime variants) are NOT getting even 2 years of updates. And some of those don't get updates AT ALL.
So, when you are saying "Samsung updates phones" you are wrong. You might say "RECENTLY Samsung decided to give updates to ONLY the most expensive phones", which could be true, because even 5 years ago, Samsung didn't have a good record in updating their own flagships.

And "3 years updates" are just every android version update comes in 6-8 months late, which is like you get an update, but 4 months later there is already newer one.
And obviously the WORST thing that ever happened to android is KNOX - which means if you root your device once, there is no way to get it back with warranty as you trigger KNOX 0x1 which is irreversible.
So no. Never ever I will buy a Samsung device
