Also you can tell the difference between anonymous accounts to begin with, above that I prefer not to use my account since the moment GSMArena started to act annoyingly since a while ago, I tend to visit such sites in private mode with Ghostery on, and GSMArena doesn't even allow to participate in poll votes because of that.

Tech companies sometimes simply copy each other's steps to keep up with the competition.

I'm pretty sure most large Android manufacturers have had this program in the works for long time and they will be announcing it soon. But they would have never pulled the trigger with it if it wasn't for Apple doing it first. Especially low quality budget brands like Xiaomi cannot afford to have less access reparability than Apple. Simple as.
