In my country if you didnt buy Xiaomi product from official distributor you cant replace battery in authorized repair service... Thats just crazy... Thats only downside I found with Xiaomi.

I'm thrilled to see that other brands are finally taking a right-to-repair approach, but why did they have to wait for Apple to do it first?? It's like Xiaomi is asking to be compared to Apple

Really... Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi... they all copy cat each other.
And then all the smaller brands follow.
And before someone says I like Apple or Samsung, please read again because in essence I call ALL THE BRANDS OUT THERE out for this stuff.

Whatever apple does the rest of the phone industry copies...
However,it is a good thing that manufacturers are slowly supporting self repair and I as a pc repair technician appreciates this move..

In b4 Samsung flies in and announces their version of this program and how cool and awesome it is, then Apple just happens to end support for the program on later iPhone/iPad models and Samsung releases PR stuff and ads that say "we are better than apple, we have (X) feature", then they proceed to follow suit with Apple a year later whilst deleting the ads and pretending nothing ever happened.
