But hey it's ok. For 1300, 1800 you get 4k and a 3.5mm.
It for 2500 you get even weaker battery and even brightness of an 8 year old phone!

1) GPU has nothing to do with armv9
2) What are the benefits of v9 against what apple has now (8.3?)
SVE is nice in theory but @128bits it behaves on par with NEON
Call it an excuse if you will but Apple can skip it as much as they see fit, everybody else can't because there is nothing else for them to use and market it as an improvement.

I hope that they backed down on performance and just focus more on thermal efficiency. You dont really need to catch up to iphone to create an enjoyable experience. Snapdragon 888 is a hot mess and quite power hungry when compared to 865

Every year the same thing, so much bls blah blah. that the end user neither knows what it is for nor is interested as long as the phone works well, and so much blah blah blah to end up using whasapp, facebook, youtube and other apps that you can move well from a snapdragon 835 hahahahahaajj

[deleted post]"No one wants" is more like "you don't want". Hundreds of millions of iPhone users kinda make your claim a lie... Also some things may indeed come late, but at least they do via super long updates. How is your Android Pie going, you're probably still stuck on it with your Android phone... right, security updates don't matter. Right!
And we're suppose to listen to you who doesn't know that file management is perfectly fine and has been for a while now. Android is no gem either, its file management is clumsy and throwing user entire root into the face isn't helping. 50 folders with cryptic names that people have no clue what they are for.

Unfortunately in the area where I live, Samsung chooses to equip their phones with an EXYNOS processor made by them.
My Galaxy s21U can easily be used as a cup warmer as soon as I turn on the camera

That Co processor bull doesn't work in real world with Xperia overheating and throttling in basic tasks like web browsing.

Qualcomm announces their newer flagship chips on december and they doesn't make smartphones for general consumers. Most of the OEM's announces their flagship smartphone in the Consumer Electronic Show Which usually commence on jan-feb timeline. But some android OEM's like Xiaomi and Motorola launches their smartphones in special events in december and selling initially in China by the time of Christmas. Global launch follwed after several weeks.
The armv8 was introduced in 2011 and Apple was the first to use it in their A7 for iPhone 5S back in 2013. The newer armv9 was introduced in march 2021 and Apple skipped them for A16 because of their custom architecture.
The Snapdragon 8gen1 and upcomming Dimensity 9000 and Exynos 2200 will be using the stock arm X2+A710+A510 designs which was introduced along with armv9.
Both Qualcomm and Samsung developed their GPU's with armv9 architecture within 9 months. But the trillion dollar Apple has their lame excuses and their loyal fans are defending by 888vs A15 and 8gen1 vs A16 theories. It's like intel fanboys defending Amd has 7nm and we have older 14nm++++
My current phone has powered by SD855 which was launched 2 months after A12 Bionic and both are manufactured by 7nm TSMC nodes.
So,
855 vs A12(7nm LPE)
865 vs A13(7nm LPP)
888 vs A14(5nm Samsung, 5nm TSMC)
8gen 1 vs A15(4nm Samsung, 5nm TSMC)
The A16 will be using TSMC's 4nm and 8gen 2 to use TSMC 4nm or Samsung 3nm.
