So it is a chip for 2021 phones. Anyway like the guy said, SD8G1 and A15 are 2 month apart, you attempt to compare it with the A16 which will launch 1 year from now is really weird.

Because they choose almost 4k res for their screen which is already taking a lot of battery and Snapdragon chip doesn't support such big res. So they have to implement their own co-processor just to handle that high res. I'm sure my comment means sh*t to you. But hey.. I think it's the same way for others about your constantly negative "opinions". FYI, I am really interested what device you use? What brand is so honnest that you choose that one over others? Absence of AV1 hardware decoder for a 2022 flagship is unacceptable. Qualcomm no longer makes the best Android SoC period. Cheaping out with a Samsung process instead of TSMC, not implementing a hardware AV1 decoder, not having more L1/L2 Cache. All of them make it a premium midrange SoC and not a flagship.

With every new generation of chip being made, big claims are being made about the power efficiency. However, those numbers are rarely translated into real world figures. Right now, every new invention is almost like a marketing gimmick to attract customers.

Soo this is apple a15 eater. I m sure this can beat A15 easily, a 15 only can win in benchmark but my doubt is in power efficiency and heating i hope they fixed it
