Would love to see gsmarena do interviews with smartphone optics, camera, and sensor makers, and discuss what are the bits that need improvement, the future of smartphone imaging etc. Also, whether smartphone plastic lenses truly resolve less than glass lenses of the same size, and the hurdles in Computational Photography algorithms, OIS, readout speeds etc.
Gsmarena, please start doing interviews and include people imaging, that matter.

It's just a lightweight among heavyweights.
iOS, being light doesn't allow you to truly multi-task or give you added functionality in the background like split screen multitasking, quick ball, second space etc.
All apps are frozen, which gives the illusion of better RAM management and fluidity.
Afcourse, less RAM will be consumed since there is hardly anything real running in the background.

The 64MP from S21 downsized to 12MP looks better than the 12MP from main camera.
There are 📷 with micro 4/3 sensors with 5.6 micron while some Full Frames are 3.5 micron.
The pro 📷 that offers best quality are those of more resolution.

If people want some stuff back like QHD screen, IR blast, sd slot and jack; they need to pressure Samsung on their social media and boycote their products until they do.

The size of the sensor doesn't matter, it's the size of the pixels that matters! I see a small improvement in the pixel size!

I didn't buy S21 because it doesn't have SD-Card Slot. I can manage phone without 3.5 headphone jack, I'll just use wireless but no sd-card, no way that I will buy this S22.
I had Galaxy S8+, S10+ and S20-ultra I normaly want to update new galaxy but since they remove SD-Card support bye bye galaxy.

If not having a headphone jack is a dealbreaker for you, buy another phone that has a headphone jack... or microSD card, or FM radio, or IR blaster... whichever feature you really obsess about.
For some of us, Samsung phones are to be avoided because they only come in the Exynos variant in our countries and Exynos is crap. That's a dealbreaker. So we buy something else. No drama, no fuss.

Compar... moreAnother bad thing about Samsung phones is that some years ago Samsung made a deal with Microsoft (the devil in my opinion) and preinstalled various Microsoft apps on Galaxy phones. I prefer to keep my exposure to Microsoft stuff to the minimum, totally avoid them is ideal.

The amount of RAM means nothing. iPhones run buttery smooth on lesser RAM, because iOS is super optimized.

Why do they need to make the phone have a more rounded cornered display. The A51 was the sweet spot for curves if they existed for me. What is this...
