really, this environmental wokeness goes too far.
the saddest thing is that it is mostly dumb people like greta who promote their shit with the help of so-called "toolkits" they receive from their employers.

Anonymous, 04 Dec 2021When you buy Fairphone, you're not just buying a phone... moreMost of the smartophones they have sold are still in service.

People buying fairphone are probably far more concerned with sustainability than the average consumers.

I keep my phones as much as I can. I've got a pixel 2 that is working fine but the battery is nearly dead i can't find decent spares.

I've also been made aware of how wasteful smartphone made by Chinese compagnies, Samsung, Apple, Google que and how poorly the worker that made this kind of phone lives.

Buying a fairphone is a statement. While it's around the same cost as a Pixel 6 which is a far better phone right now, lost pixel 6 will be in the trash bin before most fairphone 4 start to think about changing their phones.

Is GSMArena planning a Fairphone 4 review? I know it's not the most popular phone but I'd love to see more details and an ability to use the comparison tool before I buy it!

Cool, don't worry we all know ignorance was a problem in the past, is a trend of the present, the more ignorant the "cooler". Even cooler is, that not everybody is like this, if they would be, well, there would be no technology and people would replace water with gatorade and expect for plants to grow.
Anyway, inflated prices would be a chinese brand selling devices at this price. Givin the nature and the ethics behind the companies, well they cost exactly as they should, no chinese brand should cost more then 500 euros. And even that is overpriced for a reverse engineering crapp. But how can one that comes here and call's a 570€ modular device "overpriced" understand that? No need to answer, was a rethorical question.
