Anonymous, 04 Dec 2021When you buy Fairphone, you're not just buying a phone... morePeople that buy fairphone are actually buying it to have it for a long time and for supporting the company, and yes, all of them will bother to repair it as it would take a maximum of ten minutes to do that. To me, this phone is a statement.

Pumpino, 04 Dec 2021I don't get it. It has massive bezels, a massive teard... moreOh no, another one that thinks a phone is made of some specs and nothing else. You can install a lot of other OS's on it, they actually support that, it has android 11 (old?). The proccesor was literally released this year and has 5G connection, (outdated?). The user can replace everything in it. The warranty is 5 years. The battery can be swapped in a matter of a second. No charger in this world will charge a battery this fast. The company ethics are way above any chinese company hands down and does a great job of proving their ethics are also implemented. Now run along with you crapp and stay out, people that buy this device have a better motive then paperweight specs.

rizki1, 04 Dec 2021i'd rather trade easily this phone after 3 years like ... moreThe queation is, why are you here? This phone is not for m..s that run after paper specs, in case you did nor realize, Fairphone is about sustainability, saving the earth from e-waste, paying workers with actuall money, and a whole lot of other projects, if you can't grasp uppon that, then stop comming here and do agressive ads for crappy brands. Not everybody needs or wants trackomy, copyomi, crappomi and so on.

Fairphone is an awesome company. This should be the leading company for Android. They are an excellent example. Apple should be ashamed.

Do you see why Android is by far the best? Diversity. Ethics. Eco... Principles. Fairphone are the flagship company all other Android OEMS should be.

Better just buy another $200 phone with the same/better specs than Fairphone 4.

Well, it doesn't have a headphone jack, how it can be called "Fair"? :D Modular design is awesome
An IPS panel is a good choice, because amoled won't last at least for 5 years without any issues
Also having a 778g instead of 750 would be a nice addition, but this phone will cost even more with 778

Not everyone is loaded enough to change phones every year. Also, it's completely pointless to brag about SD 888 or GG Victus or even AMOLED screen if it's hard to repair. I had to wait for almost a month to get my Mi 11 repaired because the service centre found it difficult to repair the phone. I'm not talking about DIY third-party service centre here, I'm talking about authorized Xiaomi service centre. If Fairphone is available in my country, I would easily trade my Mi 10 Pro for it. Five year warranty with up to five year of software support? Count me in!

Ronald, 04 Dec 2021Fairphone is severely underratedIt's underrated because Fairphone never sell their phone outside of the EU. If you watch Our Changing Climate's YouTube video about Fairphone, they explained about reducing carbon foorprint.

They deeply care about repairability and longevity. As for update, even the 2015 Fairphone 2, a phone that was shipped with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop out of the box, already received Android 10 update. I want to see Google do the same exact thing with their Huawei Nexus 6P.

Ronald, 04 Dec 2021Fairphone is severely underratedI don't get it. It has massive bezels, a massive teardrop notch, weighs a massive 225g, a small battery, an IPS display, a poor track record with updates, specs that are already out of date, and to top it off, it costs a fortune. People would do better to spend the money on a phone with more to offer, which will last just as long.
